Video Series: Spring Break Tips - Part 1: Driving

In this series, we ride along with Florida Attorney Bruce Denson as he gives brief explanations on Florida Law and how to stay out of legal trouble during spring break.

Transcript

Alright, spring break in Florida: Make sure you're spending it with your friends and not a criminal defense attorney. So, when you're driving around be extra careful. Listen, there's heavy enforcement out on the beach. There's police all over there looking for DUIs. So, do not drink and drive. Remember, you've probably got a lot of friends in the car, you're on roads that are unfamiliar, maybe you're in a rental car you're not familiar with - That can all lead to trouble. So, be extra careful when you're out on spring break and you're driving.

Further Thoughts

One of the easiest ways to find yourself in trouble during spring break is with irresponsible driving. So, keep yourself out of trouble by prioritizing safe, responsible driving. As always: Never drink and drive - use a ride-sharing service if you've been drinking and need to get around. Just remember that the police are more vigilant than ever during spring break - so don't give them any reason to pick you out of a crowd.
