Transcript
First thing you want to do when you get out of jail is take a shower. Second thing you want to do is tell yourself three words: can’t change it. I’ll give you permission to be mad for five minutes. I want you to repeat to yourself: can’t change it. Quit looking backwards. Alright, you may be mad at yourself, you could be mad at the cops. You may realize that you screwed up you, may think that the police made a big mistake. Well, that’s in the past. We’ve got to put it in the past so tell yourself “can’t change it,” start looking forward. In the next clip, we’re gonna talk about how to make your next best move.
Further Thoughts
After being arrested, it’s imperative that you stay focused on moving forward. You simply cannot dwell on the past because you can’t change whatever’s already happened. Whether you were in the wrong or in the right won’t change. The only thing you can control now is what you do next.
