Transcript

Alright: It's 2020 and let me tell you something that you may not agree with, you may not believe, but it's still the law in Florida that marijuana is illegal. So, if you've got a bunch of it - you're gonna get a felony charge. If you're selling it - you're certainly gonna get a felony charge. If you're driving under the influence of it - you're going to be accused of DUI. If you have a small personal use amount, there may be some situations where the police will not arrest you, however, in Florida, the law still is that marijuana is illegal. So, don't sell it, don't drive under the influence of it, and certainly follow the law, and if you need a prescription go get a prescription because that may help some of your situation but marijuana is illegal.

Further Thoughts

While legalized access to medical marijuana in 2016 with the Compassionate Medical Cannabis Act, marijuana is still illegal in the state of Florida. If you have not been diagnosed by a certified physician with a qualifying condition and added to the Medical Marijuana Use Registry, possession and use of Marijuana is still illegal. So, until further legislation passes allowing marijuana for recreational use, it’s best to avoid possessing and using marijuana and you certainly don’t want to drive under the influence of marijuana.
